Caspian Tower, It Falls!

The radio tower on the Battlefield 3 map Caspian Border was seen in the original Frostbite 2 destruction trailer  a few months ago and it was falling. It was confirmed by Demizee99 to be destructible, but upon release day, the only time to see the tower fall was during rush mode. Now, the tower can be seen falling in a user video during a conquest match in Battlefield 3. The user reports that the tower falls once the enemy team has only ten tickets left.

Meet The Guy From The Battlefield 3 Cover

By now we’ve seen the same old Battlefield 3 “soldier” thousands of times, from wallpapers, to game covers, to trailers, and even PC hardware and peripherals. Now Swedish media reveals the real man behind the Battlefield soldier, Dennis Lennartsson, who reports that he and DICE took over 500 potential photos for the Battlefield 3 cover, ending up with what we now know as the “soldier”.
Lennartsson says all the combat gear he wore weighted 30 KG, about 65 pounds, which he had on him not only during the photo shoots, but during extensive motion capture filming he did for the singleplayer campaign. If you think the Battlefield 3 cover looks familiar to the Bad Company 2 cover, it’s because Lennaartsson posed for that one as well.

Battlefield 4 Confirmed by EA President

EA has allegedly confirmed the existence of Battlefield 4. According to reports on Twitter, Electronic Arts president Frank Gibeau commented that "there is going to be a Battlefield 4" during a keynote at the University of Southern California.

Given that Battlefield 3 was the fastest-selling game in EA history, the news comes as no surprise. Still, this marks the first time that EA has publicly acknowledged the existence of the sequel.
